Spiritual leadership – The Triple Bottom Line

PEOPLE, PROCESS & PROFIT are all improved with Spiritual Leadership!

Here’s the definition taken from Institute of Spiritual Leadership

What Is Spiritual Leadership? – Spiritual leadership involves intrinsically motivating and inspiring workers through hope/faith in a vision of service to key stakeholders and a corporate culture based on  the values of altruistic love to produce a highly motivated, committed and productive workforce.  The purpose of spiritual leadership is to tap into the fundamental needs of both leaders and followers for spiritual well-being through calling (life has meaning and makes a difference) and membership (belonging); to create vision and value congruence across the individual, empowered team, and organization levels; and, ultimately, to foster higher levels of employee well-being, organizational commitment, financial performance, and social responsibility – the Triple Bottom Line.

Makes sense, doesn’t it? I like the idea of a triple bottom line… I’ve always talked and operated with the fundamental basis of results through people, not as a result of them. This concept of spiritual leadership encompasses the idea, the structure and the execution that sits comfortably with me, it just makes sense.

I just loved this model, and think it just makes sense (again taken from the website.) I am sure there will be much more to mention, just thought I’d share.
